Ms. Kruti Quazi, MA, LPC, NCC, DBTC,CCTP
Ms. Quazi received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology with a minor in Biology from Drexel University and her Master’s degree in Clinical/Community Counseling Psychology from Eastern University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in PA and a National Board Certified Counselor. She is also certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, is a certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), certified Family Trauma Professional and has received additional certification in Pennsylvania Client Placement Criteria (PCPC). She is a member of the American Counseling Association International Association of Trauma Professionals, and a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society, the International Honor Society in Psychology. She has also completed trainings in various treatment therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Art Narrative Therapy (TANT), Oppositional & Defiant Children, Suicide and Risk Assessment, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Previously she worked with children from birth to age 3, who were exposed to cocaine in-utero at the Medical College of PA and worked in the area of Behavioral Genetics of Obesity at University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her private practice in Wayne, she is currently employed at Rosemont College as the Director of the Counseling Center. Her psychotherapy philosophy is integrative, utilizing various therapies with client-centered, emotion-focused, and solution-focused approaches. She is fluent in Gujarati and works with individuals of all genders and socio-economic backgrounds.
